The 2025 Taiwan Expo in Malaysia was held grandly at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from June 23 to 25, gathering over 200 Taiwanese enterprises. Taiwanese cleaning brand WASHWISE showcased its innovative eco-friendly products, standing out with natural ingredients, environmental friendliness, and high efficiency—perfectly aligning with the global ESG sustainability trend. The brand became a highlight of the event, attracting enthusiastic inquiries from around 40 buyers from Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
This year, WASHWISE focused on its dual-action “powerful degreasing” and “cockroach prevention” formulas, offering innovative solutions for common kitchen and household oil stains and cockroach problems. The product line emphasizes both consumer health and environmental protection; the greywater produced after use can be recycled, fully reflecting the circular economy concept and earning recognition from many buyers. Numerous industry representatives from Malaysia and neighboring countries expressed strong interest in the product’s innovative technology, green brand philosophy, and practicality. Some have already scheduled follow-up negotiations, demonstrating a strong willingness to cooperate.
Liang Zhujun, General Manager of Daho International Biotech, stated, “WASHWISE is honored to participate and receive affirmation from local buyers. Our on-site interactions revealed that the Malaysian market’s demand for natural, eco-friendly cleaning products with degreasing and cockroach prevention features continues to rise. We will keep driving industrial upgrades through innovative R&D and actively expand into international markets.”
COO Hsiao Bing-Li added, “This exhibition successfully connected WASHWISE with numerous potential partners, resulting in a large volume of positive feedback and collaboration invitations. We will further deepen cooperation with Malaysia and neighboring countries, promote high-quality Taiwanese biotech brands, and work together to achieve green and sustainable goals.”
The organizer, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), emphasized that bilateral trade between Taiwan and Malaysia continues to reach new heights, and the Taiwan Expo has become an important platform for Taiwanese companies to enter the ASEAN market. WASHWISE’s success in winning over Malaysian buyers has not only greatly enhanced its brand image but also injected new momentum into the international expansion of Taiwan’s green and sustainable industries.
